Work and Benefit the Community at the Phinney Neighborhood Association

The Phinney Neighborhood Association is seeking an experienced Volunteer Coordinator for a part time position. The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit and manage volunteers to support PNA programs, plus collaborate with community partners to increase volunteerism.

In 2008 over 1,000 volunteers gave nearly 27,000 hours to the Phinney Neighborhood Association. The part-time job is for 15 hours/week beginning in January 2010, with up to 30 hours of transition between mid-November and mid-December. Phinney Ridge Neighborhood Association Director Retiring – Job Open

Ed Medeiros, the executive director of the Phinney Neighborhood Association is retiring after 29 years of great service to the organization. The job is posted here. After the purchase of the Phinney Neighborhood site from the Seattle School District – it is a high impact time for the organization to build community and infrastructure in the Phinney Ridge and Greenwood neighborhoods. We are thankful and proud of Ed Medeiros almost 30 years of service and accomplishments for the community and excited for the next phase of leadership in Phinney Ridge.
